Volunteer

FoMM is run by volunteers, and we could use your help! If you would like to donate some of your time to help FoMM acheive their goals, please contact us. We have an immediate need for Regional Coordinators across the state. The job description is listed below:

Regional Coordinators-Detroit Area, Upper Peninsula, West Michigan, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, etc.(If you live in an area that doesn’t have a FoMM Chapter and would like to start one, let us know!)

Maintains communication with FoMM Board. Recruits members locally and forwards contact information to FoMM. Organizes phone/email trees in the local area. Makes local midwifery and natural birth contacts and provides hands-on support and assistance to local midwives. Organizes activities or events at the local level. Creates committees of local members for fundraising or events. Provides feedback to board about outcome of events. Runs quarterly regional meetings.
